Randstad is now looking for a part time temporary board secretary for Mid-May to end of June 2-3 days per week. This position would be part-remote and part in office for board meetings and committee meetings.

Responsibilities
Schedule and coordinate monthly board and committee meetings including:
-Working with board chair, committee chairs, CEO and directors to prepare agendas
- Publishing relevant board materials in a timely manner
- Ensuring relevant room bookings and equipment availability
Provide comprehensive administrative support for Board and Committee meetings including:
- Conducting detailed reviews of documents, presentations and reports prior to distribution to board members
- Ensuring accurate filing of board documents including maintaining appropriate file access
-Taking detailed minutes during board and committee meetings
-Presenting draft minutes for approval and distributing approved minutes
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience providing legal secretarial, board, or senior executive support
-Familiarity with not for profit sector a definite asset
-Exceptional written and strong verbal communication skills coupled with attention to detail
-Strong computer skills with expert knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Sharepoint
-High level of professionalism with a focus on confidentiality, discretion, tact and diplomacy in interactions with board members, staff, volunteers and the public
