The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience within an accounting role and possess strong administrative skills. A typical day would include assisting with day-to-day administration and supporting accounting functions. Primary responsibilities include processing AP/AR, billing, invoicing, creating PO’s as well as running and analyzing reports. Having working knowledge of QuickBooks software would be considered an asset. This is a permanent position with a growing organization in Burlington, offering great overall compensation and room for growth.

Responsibilities
- Invoicing, billing and data entry
- Entering all A/P and A/R invoices in Quickbooks
- Processing payables and expense reports
- Reconciliations, matching and reporting
- Follow up on A/R payments / soft collections
- Oversee payments for all vendors to ensure timely deliveries on product
- Process Visa statements monthly
- Reconcile bank accounts from downloaded bank statements
- Provide Secure Online payment links to clients for payment
- Process payments on web portal from client’s credit card information
- Generate monthly Commission Reports for salespeople
- Prepare bank deposits and enter in QuickBooks
- Keep Knoll account accurate and up to date
- Process courier shipments
- Receive and review incoming project files
- Creating PO’s and generating order
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience within an accounting role
- Strong administrative skills with good understanding of the accounting principles
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks
- Exposure to Team Design software would be an advantage
- Intermediate-level experience in Excel and MS Office
- Highly organized and self-motivated
- Strong attention to detail is required
- Strong work ethic and commitment to grow in this company
- Strong communication, both verbal and written
