We are looking for experienced bilingual bookkeeping secretary to assist our clients with their administrative and light accounting needs and working closely with senior management and provide office and overall administrative support. Salary is determined based on years of experience and relevant background!

Responsibilities & Duties of the Bookkeeping Secretary:
•Full cycle bookkeeping. Payroll, invoicing, GST/HST. etc.
•Maintain accounts, prepare cheques, invoices, payments, and deposits
•Oversee accounts receivables and accounts payable
•Bank reconciliation accounts and credit cards
•Prepare payroll, including employee cheques, reports, and T4 summaries
•Prepare all government remittances, HST, EHT
•Prepare month and year-end financial statements
•Follow up with outstanding client invoices when required
•Various administrative duties
•Respond to staff and client inquiries and maintain client relations
•Prepare reports in Excel, Word
•Answering phones and working different shifts and weekend
•Provide clerical and administrative support to management, as requested

Skills and qualifications required for the Bookkeeping Secretary:
•1-2 years’ experience in a similar role.
•High School Diploma
•Accounting/Bookkeeping certificate or higher
•Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
•Advanced level of QuickBooks Online.
•Accuracy and attention to detail
•Strong organization skills
•Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
•Excellent organizational, time management and communication skills
•Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills
•Professionalism and respect for confidentiality are essential
•Able to take direction and follow instructions
•Dynamic, energetic, motivated & enthusiastic, able to work independently and within a team
•Love customer service. Communicate easily and effectively with clients on a regular basis
