We have 2 different shifts available! 1 straight day shift, and 1 straight afternoon shift.

If you are interested in the afternoon shift, you will be working a 4 day work week - Monday to Thursday: 4PM-2:30 AM
If you are interested in the day shift, you will be working 7-4:30 Monday-Thursday & Fridays 7-12PM

Responsibilities
Set up and operate brake press to bend, form or straighten metal products
Provide brake press expertise, support, and direction including but not limited to; brake press operation dies, measuring devices, gauges, tooling, material handling and safety
Ensures that the brake press is properly set up, working well, and producing a quality product
Completes a quality inspection of the finished product to ensure defect-free
Must work in accordance with Health & Safety regulations, Company rules, policies, and procedures
Must ensure machine safety rules are followed (light curtains, guarding, etc.)
Bend parts according to provided drawings and specifications
Completion of data entry and/or paperwork as required
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of brake press operation experience a plus
Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills to comprehend how schematics work
Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, and other specifications accordingly
Must be able to stand and complete repetitive motion for extended periods of time
Experience with Metal Fabrication an asset
Ability to use Tape Measure, Vernier, and other measuring tools
Ability to identify and change Brake Press tools
Capable to lift up to 50lbs comfortably
