We are working with a growing company in the Ottawa region who is looking for a Branch Manager to join their team! Reporting directly to the Vice-President, Managing Director, the Branch Manager would be responsible for the day to day operations of one of the key locations in Ottawa.

Responsibilities
- Oversee day to day operations
- Manage time and attendance, vacation, sick days of staff
- Resolve problem situations with customers and employees
-Ensure that all personnel comply with safety standards and local regulations
-Manage and control expenses within established budget
- Coordinate training activities for branch employees
-Supervise, onboard, and evaluate internal branch staff
-Ensure orders are delivered on time and maintained in the computer system
-Ensure building maintenance (supervise employees' work, mandate and coordinate
maintenance contracts with suppliers and contractors)
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in a similar role
- Bilingualism (French & English a MUST
- Experience in HVAC or Electrical
- Bilingual French/English (a huge asset to the selection process)
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office
- Bachelor's degree in business management or business management training
- Strong management skills
