This is a 6-month contract with our client in the Finance Industry, which requires the Business Analyst to work onsite at our client's office in downtown Toronto 2 days per week

Responsibilities
• Conduct specialized research, evaluation, and operational reporting in L&D to offer support and guidance.
• Analyze, assess, and review business performance, processes, and initiatives related to L&D.
• Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to develop and prepare business metrics, standard, and ad hoc reports that inform or support decision-making.
• Perform ongoing analysis and review of business performance and processes to identify areas for improvement.
• Assist in developing presentations and communications, ensuring the effective dissemination of information.
• Understand departmental objectives and recommend actionable insights to management based on analysis and results review.
• Employ both quantitative and qualitative methods to interpret and present data clearly and effectively.
• Collaborate with others to develop and implement new procedures or processes, including creating layouts or templates for data consumption.
Qualifications
• Strong Business Analyst Skills (5+ years).
• Proven experience with Stakeholder Management.
• A flair for data story-telling, must be able to articulate trends in the data.
• Comfort working with Excel, and Visio.
• Strong ability to absorb, synthesize, and analyze large volumes of information and research.
• Enjoyment of working on complex issues and challenges.
• Proven planning and project management skills, with the capability to oversee and coordinate multiple projects and shifting priorities under tight deadlines and with various stakeholders.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including executives, L&D Centers of Excellence, HR Data & Analytics teams, and external partners/vendors.
• Capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Skill in continuously assessing and prioritizing workflow according to project needs.
• Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to bring structure to work, driving progress forward.
