Our high-profile Downtown Vancouver client is seeking to hire a Business Analyst, on a long-term contract with a strong probability of extension. What will you do?
As a Business Analyst with our Downtown Vancouver client, you will:
•Advise stakeholders of current design and provide recommendations to ensure design supports local nuances.
•Participate in full project life cycle for major market deployments.
•Support in training the local/in-market technical resources, and provide inputs to end-user and training documentation.
•Ensure operational readiness, including full handover/training post-go-live to in application administrator.
•Leverage in market BA resources to capture detailed technical requirements; engaging on-the-ground support to ensure application readiness pre-go-live.
•Provide technical integration requirements to development team.
•Work closely with vendor to ensure configuration requirements are understood, and delivery matches design.
•Perform QA after vendor configuration is complete.
•Escalate to the PM to ensure project risks/issues are proactively managed.
•Assume responsibility for functional/technical documentation.

How do you qualify?
To qualify for the Business Analyst role with our Downtown Vancouver client, you must have:
•5+ years’ experience as a BA.
•Experience gathering requirements for HRIS/payroll applications.
•2-3 years’ experience implementing HRIS systems.
•Experience documenting requirements, writing test cases and supporting business with UAT.
•Proficient in providing technical, integration requirements to development teams.
•Experience in retail an asset.
•Experience with global projects or international campaigns an asset.

What soft skills do you bring?
