Are you a seasoned Business Analyst, experienced in managing complex, cross-functional initiatives throughout the full project life cycle? Our high-profile Vancouver client is seeking to hire a Business Analyst (Retail) on a long term contract with a strong probability of extension. What will you do?
As a Business Analyst with our Vancouver client, you will:
• Drive business analysis activities: requirements elicitation, process definition, systems mapping, and functional test planning.
• Gather, analyze, document, review and communicate requirements across stakeholder groups.
• Exercise influence of stakeholders with thoughtful and tactful communication to drive decisions.
• Prioritize requirements based on business and technical needs.
• Participate in testing and support phases throughout the project.
• Align overall scope and sequencing recommendations with business stakeholders.
• Communicate with a variety of stakeholders on business expectations and constraints.
• Develop end user communication, training guides, policies, and procedures.
• Develop testing scenarios based upon requirements; functional and technical specification documents.
• Work with external consultants and internal/external developers throughout the development and configuration cycles.
• Co-ordinate/support software releases and post deployment validations with business and internal/external technical teams.
• Perform functional solution and design discussions with understanding of process, data and system flows.
• Support one or more moderately to highly complex business processes.

How do you qualify?
To qualify for the Business Analyst role with our Vancouver client, you must have:
• 5+ years’ professional experience as a business Analyst.
• 2-3 years’ experience in a retail environment.
• 2-3 years’ experience with APIs.
• 1-2 years’ experience in data analysis and privacy/security.
• Experience in RFID, Point of Sale or inventory systems.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
