Responsibilities
Gathers and documents functional and technical specification requirements of existing and future business processes using different methodologies such as flow diagrams, use cases
Facilitates backlog grooming and prioritization
Facilitates identifying and documents: dependencies, solution decisions, and security and privacy recommendations
Align with Program, Product and business stakeholders on delivery scope and sequencing recommendations
Utilizes artifacts such as JIRA, Confluence and Business Process Documentation to document and facilitate requirement alignment
Working closely with our technology team to obtain or aid with bugs and issue tracking
Acts as subject matter expert of business processes and systems flow within a functional area
Provide as needed support for troubleshooting and remediation of technical issues
Work closely with UI/UX team to develop concepts that address core functionalities & best practices
Work closely with the Quality Assurance and Development teams to validate new features &enhancements
Qualifications
5+ years of business analyst experience. Specific experience within the contact centre or retail
industries an asset.
5+ Experience working with both agile and waterfall delivery methodologies
5+ Experience working with systems integrations
Scrum methodology awareness and previous work in an agile environment.
Excellent verbal and written communicaton skills
Demonstrated ability to learn/adapt and propose new and existing technologies
Nice to have:
Knowledge of DevOps administration including CI/CD pipelines, build and release management.
Experience with programming and scripting
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or Sterling COM is an asset.
