Business Development Manager - Ontario

Our client specializes in logistics and warehouse storage solutions and is currently looking for a Business Development Manager for Ontario.

- Prospecting new customers – focus on selling to logistics companies
- Continue to foster strong relationships with existing customers in order to increase the share of wallet
- Conduct effective sales calls, make presentations, and ensure deals are closed in a timely and efficient manner
- Have thorough product knowledge in order to communicate and demonstrate technical proficiency
- Attend and/or participate in annual trade shows and seminars as well as various internal meetings and events
- Be knowledgeable of competitive products and systems

- Min. 2 years of experience in the transportation industry – specifically focusing on logistics, broker relationships or similar industry
- Post-secondary in a mechanical engineering degree/ diploma
- Need to be self-motivated and well organized
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Persistent, ambitious and have a strong drive for success with proven sales results
- Must be flexible to travel
