We are seeking a Business Development Manager who will be responsible for generating new business within the Ontario region. This individual must have knowledge of mutual funds and a previous sales and financial background.

Responsibilities
-Prospect, cold call, develop and close new business
-One-on-one meetings and branch presentations, and, to a lesser extent, via telephone, mail, email and
conference calls
-Lunch and Learns with new prospect clients
-Build investor interest in products and offerings using marketing materials
- Communicate the particulars of investment offerings and products to IIROC and EMD Advisors
- Prepare and present presentations
- Provide communication to distribution list
Qualifications
-3-5 years of experience in financial services sales
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient with Maximizer, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Experience preparing and conducting sales presentations
- Ability to learn quickly, adapt to change, and multi-task
- Canadian Securities Institute (CSI) and/or Exempt Market Proficiency (EMP) certification preferred but not required
