Responsibilities
• Develops and maintains lasting industry relationships with independent sales representatives, contractors, specifiers, wholesale distributors and prospects
• Conduct market research and analysis to find new business and profitable growth
• Mentor and coach independent manufacturer’s representatives
• Attend and promote training seminars, regional trade shows, and wholesale and engineering visits
• Drive product adoption through product training, specification generation, quoting and building code changes
• Report market trends including pricing, competitor or technological changes
• Travel across region for client engagement
Qualifications
• Post secondary education - Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience
• Minimum 2 year of plumbing/HVAC/Mechanical industry related experience
• Excellent Communication skills - English and French
• Strong computer skills with a proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word and MS Dynamics
• Ability to travel
