job description

Our client is looking for a BI Analyst to join their team asap. This is 100% remote work from home therefore can live anywhere in Canada as travel to the office is only annually! As a successful candidate will have experience providing analytical support, delivering insights, scheduled or ad-hoc reporting and conducting data analysis. You will work closely with various stakeholders to gather data requirements and build new self serve solutions, including reports and data visualizations. You will also build and maintain dashboards, work with various departments to help evolve the data platforms as well as develop and maintain the data models, central data warehouse, contribute to the data pipelines and maintain the data analytics infrastructure and documentation. You will also write clean, efficient, maintainable and scalable SQL!

Qualifications:
2+ years working in a analytics role
2+ years experience with SQL and analytic databases
Marketing Industry experience including market analysis required
Relational data modeling and data analysis experience
2+ years with reporting platforms such as Looker, Tableau or similar
Proficient with Excel
Experience with Salesforce.com reporting an asset
DBT experience (Data Build Tool) nice to have
Programming/scripting for data science in Python or R an asset.
DB2 and or experience with NoSQL data stores - nice to have
Experience in ETL, data pipelining - an asset
