Responsibilities
As a Business Operations Manager, your duties will include but not be limited to:
●Engaging and influence key senior cross functional stakeholders both in-country and Group across Business, risk, compliance, legal
●Overseeing of services provided by Service Delivery in support of Wealth distribution activities
●Working with client teams, external vendors to develop, define and implement coaching roadmap, training paths and sales process.
●Working with internal partners (including Wealth Risk, AMCA, Audit, Compliance, ORIC, Information Risk, etc.).
●Working with Finance and Analytics to establish and communicate business requirements to support Sales Performance Management initiatives
●Participating in forums as assigned and reviewing strategies/policy on behalf of WPB, consolidating responses and providing feedback and advice.
●Delivering fair outcomes for our customers and ensuring our own conduct maintains the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets.
●Partnering with Finance and across WPB business, working with internal and external parties
●Fostering an environment of teamwork, ensuring collaboration throughout the organization
●Defining and make business recommendations providing guidance to Wealth leadership team on strategies to improve business performance
●Cultivating an environment that supports diversity and reflects the client brand.
●Providing representation or coordinate strategic projects, analysis and presentations on behalf of Wealth team
●Promoting an environment that supports diversity and reflects the client brand.
●Working with both internal and external partners (manufacturer) to identify and improve company operational activity and improving overall efficiencies for the overall Wealth business
●Assisting in documenting and communicating the progress against plan, determining recommended actions as required by business Head
●Ensuring professional standards of business conduct, consistent with company’s reputation
●Implementing group policy locally, maintain internal control standards
●Ensuring that all employees are aware of and effectively identify and manage applicable money laundering (ML), terrorist financing (TF), sanctions and reputational risks.
●Completing other responsibilities, as assigned.
Qualifications
●Minimum of 2-5 years of experience within the investment or wealth management industry.
●Experience in planning, project management, mutual funds
●Knowledge of investment firms
●Direct experience in a product development and/or product management environment
●Self-disciplined. Needs to be able to work efficiently on their own
●Strong command of systems and software programs (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
●Demonstrated ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
●Proven ability to persuade and/or influence others in order to provide and obtain information relevant to the programs.
●Excellent working knowledge of management principles and sales processes
●Ability to accurately evaluate information and present recommendations based on facts
●Capable to make performance projection recommendations for specific actions and or strategies
●Successful project and staff management
Nice to Haves:
●Fluent in French
●Understanding BA/PM skills
●Previously held an advisor role on a Private investment counsel
●Specific wealth system used: RAMP
