Responsibilities
Interact with suppliers, establishing and maintaining cordial and professional relationships
Validate sales confirmations, terms, delivery dates, and customs documentation, if applicable
Follow up with suppliers on outstanding purchase orders
Obtain and maintain all documents and databases related to purchasing categories
Assist the Purchasing Manager and provide coverage during vacations
Perform other related duties
Qualifications
DEC in Administration, preferably in Procurement and Purchasing
Excellent computer skills, including MS Office, especially Excel and Outlook
At least 2 years of experience in purchasing, inventory control, and management systems and/or related fields
Knowledge of ERP systems and/or inventory systems is an asset
