Potential for contract extension and conversion
Responsibilities
• Assigned to 10-20 mini projects - project work – communicating with stakeholder: explaining
azure experience, training/ explaining process, facilitating meetings
• You will drive the end-to-end delivery of multiple workstreams by managing the critical path,
facilitating high quality discussion, effectively managing, and mitigating risks, and ensuring
appropriate governance of project activities.
• You will partner with key stakeholders including the business, technology, and ITS operations to
lead, execute and deliver the company Wealth Projects objectives.
• End-to-end project delivery ownership with alignment to business and /or enterprise strategies
• Manages the creation and maintenance of the project plan, risk and issues log, stream
resourcing and financials, and other appropriate artifacts
• Communicate critical information on project status to ensure project health
• Provide consultation to executives and senior leaders on project risks and mitigation strategies
as necessary
• Indirectly manage a cross functional Project teams consisting of Technology Resources, Vendor
resources, Quality Engineering Resources where applicable
• Accountable to lead the completion and management of project artifacts and change
governance documentation
• Job Requirements
• Proven record of project management success, preferably in technology area, in a large,
complex organization
• Adheres to enterprise frameworks or methodologies that relate to activities in our business area
• Ability to facilitate effective meetings with audiences at all levels
• Collaborates with Product Owner(s), Scrum Master(s), Technology leads and Teams on project
planning, impediments removal, and delivery execution
• Active in developing and implementing strategies that significantly mitigate delivery risk
• Record of leading organizational change management activities including impact assessments,
change risk assessments, and stakeholder communication plans
Qualifications
• University degree or equivalent
• Proficient knowledge of Waterfall and Agile project management theory, methodology,
techniques, rules and practices, estimating/sizing, planning, reporting, conflict resolution and
facilitation
• 8+ years of Project Management experience
• Project Management Professions (PMP) Certified preferred/Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
optional
• Strong working knowledge of project management techniques and tools including Microsoft
Project, JIRA and Confluence
• Flexible and able to quickly adapt to unfamiliar, ambiguous or changing conditions
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking
• azure migration experience - 3+ years (knows pass, is, aks, networking exp. – basics of azure,
handled azure project migration in the past, process improvement experience, strong ability to
come up with problems and solutions)
• has worked worked on multiple projects at one time - 5+ years
• Jira – a must! - 3+ years
• IT PM experience - 5+ years
• DEV ops experience – 5+ years - Knowledge is good enough with dev ops tools. No hands-on
experience needed.
NICE TO HAVE
• Azure certification
• PMP or scrum master
• Financial Experience
