Responsibilities
As a IT - Software Developer - Java, your duties will include but not be limited to:
Developing and documenting a detailed solution design within SDS, impart your subject matter expertise throughout the life cycle.
Participating in complex applications and systems development, programming.
Taking business, Enterprise Architecture, system performance and development standards requirements, then develop functional, technical and user interface designs for an application and/or system.
Consulting on development of the System Requirements Specification (SRS).
Reviewing technical deliverables for quality throughout the detailed design and development phase, identify gaps or redesign as needed.
Conducting code reviews to address quality, standards compliance, reusability and ease of maintenance and operational Readiness Reviews
Supporting knowledge management processes and ensure knowledge is codified, monitored, tracked and managed.
Ensuring design leverages existing reusable components, traces back to business requirements, and that new modules are designed with reusability in mind.
Identifying and addressing any issue that affects the integrity of the application ( e.g. cross-capability/release issues).
Qualifications
5+ years development and design (J2EE)
5+ frameworks like Spring, Spring MVC, Spring boot
3+ years applications Servers (WAS, JBoss on Cloud)
3+ years database knowledge and design (SQL, Oracle & MongoDB)
3+ years with RESTful API
3+ MQ / Kafka ( messaging system )
Nice to Haves:
Agile and SDLC processes
GIT, Stash
Continuous Integration and Test-Driven Methodologies
Azure
