    Position: Cash application specialist
    3 month contract with strong possibility of extension and/or permanence

    Schedule: 35 hours per week – in office

    SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
    The cash application specialist will be responsible for scanning and applying cheques to the Maestro software, at a very high volume.

    Responsibilities
    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    -Open the mail every morning
    -Review and analyze checks
    -Process / scan checks to deposit in the bank
    -Enter all incoming payments into the system in a timely manner;
    -Reconcile all receipts;
    -Prepare and scan all documentation related to payments and deductions;
    -Review and post manual credit note requests;
    -Research and obtain missing documents;
    -Respond to external and internal customer account inquiries as needed ;

    Qualifications
