Responsibilities
In this Cash Applications Specialist role in Vaughan, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Daily posting of payments by cash, cheque, credit card, online business banking and EFT.
- Reconciliation of returned items and chargebacks.
- Preparation of bank deposits for multiple entities.
- Processing of credit card refunds.
- Investigation and resolution of cash application issues.
- Communication with 3rd party vendor regarding EFT payments with remittance details.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
In this Cash Applications Specialist role in Vaughan, you will require the following:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in cash application/accounts receivable;
- Strong attention to detail to ensure proper posting and clearing of outstanding items;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written as well as verbal) with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization in a professional, competent manner;
- Experience working with MS Dynamics Great Plains is an asset.
- Bilingual (French) is considered an asset.
