Responsibilities
As a Change and Communications - BFS, your duties will include:
•Serve as centre of expertise: Working with Business Enablement teams and collaborating with LOB partners, establish effective communication plans and tactics based on discovery and decision models to get the right communication to the right audience at the right time.
•Prioritize communication requests based on each project.
•Provide advice and counsel: Coach, mentor, impact & influence Business Enablement team and key partners to optimize communication planning, practices, and tactics.
•Conduct strong discovery utilizing the Decision Model to determine business and change impact of an initiative and assigning change tactics on that basis
•Support, facilitate and execute on communications strategies:
•Develop strategic direction, champion communication excellence and benchmark best practices. Establish KPI’s and documented feedback mechanisms into each plan to reinforce change and measure success.
•Utilize different styles of communications to engage and enable advisors and leaders.
•Support crisis management communications: Work with business partners and other communication specialists (e.g., Corporate Communications, Global Technology & Operations, Human Resources) across the organization to ensure our advisors are well-equipped to deal with clients and deliver the expected client experience in the event of crises.
•Creation/Review of advisor facing materials and communications
•Act as a key collaborator to the Business Enablement leads in support of ongoing initiatives.
Qualifications
•This position requires strong business and organizational knowledge, planning and implementing capabilities with a knowledge/experience across Company Canadian Personal & Business banking; including sales management, direct sales, and operational expertise.
•Journalism, communication or English degree or equivalent work experience. Excellent written, oral communication ability, strong impact and influence competencies.
•University Degree – specialization in Communication would be an asset
•Excellent oral and written communication skills
•Innovative and Creative – willing to do things differently
•Strong Impact and influence competencies
•Ability to build partnerships with stakeholders
•Ability to multi-task
•Negation, adaptability, communication, creative thinking, detail oriented, prioritization, self-starter.
Nice-to-have
•Knowledge of Canadian Banking, specifically Commercial or Business Markets
•French would be an asset
•Creative solutions and engagement strategies will be an asset.
•Adobe Creative suite – nice to have
