Change Management Advisor - Contract 12 months + - Calgary
We are seeking Change Management professionals to join one of our clients on a contract basis in Calgary.

This work includes identifying the barriers to change, participating in the creation of plans and activities to increase employee adoption, and awareness in the most efficient and effective manner to drive greater ROI and mitigate project risks to achieve results.
Specific Accountabilities

Advisor, EAM Change Management:
•Responsible for change management support of multiple work streams of the strategic imperatives within the EAM program.
•Responsible for the development and execution of detailed design, development and active engagement of multi-level, two-way communication and change management plans, supporting the creation of communication messages/toolkits, and tracking of required training content and targeted areas of focus.
•Assists in the overall creation of communication plans, sponsor roadmap, coaching plans, training plans and resistance management for effective transition and increased user adoption of the new systems.
•Working collaboratively with EAM team and key stakeholders to assess change impacts, identifying risks, who is affected by the change (e.g., departments/groups), type of change, magnitude of change, areas of resistance, and creating resistance management plans including training considerations, employee feedback, corrective actions, transition, and sustainment considerations to manage the change.
•Develop strong, credible relationships with key client stakeholders.
•Identify, analyze, and prepare risk mitigation and anticipated resistance management tactics.
•Actively tracks feedback/insights gathered from key stakeholders and affected employees to contribute to the creation of change management plans, communication message/toolkits and training needs
•Identifies and escalates issues, risks, and areas of concern to Team Lead, EAM Change Management in a timely manner.
•Working collaboratively with the EAM and BU AM team members to support the change management activities by applying structured methodology and ensuring alignment with cross functional project activities.
•Provides change management support as required by EAM team members
•Accountable for change management details and information impacting all EAM, BU AM and Company Enterprise objectives.
•Operates in an extremely complex environment with multiple stakeholders spanning across many enterprise functions and BUs.
•This role will play a critical role in ensuring EAM meets its five year strategy to ensure our assets are safe, reliable and profitable.

Required:
•Related university degree and 4-5 plus years’ experience OR equivalent mix of formal education and demonstrated results in planning, developing, and implementing change management activities.
•A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process
•Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools
•Exceptional communication skills: written, verbal, and active listening
•Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
•Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
•Exemplary organizational skills
•Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
•Forward looking with a holistic approach
•Organized with natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics
•Ability to work effectively at all levels in an organization
•Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively
•Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
•Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
•Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite; Adobe; SharePoint
•Management of confidential and sensitive information, with utmost integrity, trust, and privacy.
