In this role you will have an impact on…

•Designing new chemical processes and equipment or modifying existing ones using standard company and engineering standards
•Modifying existing equipment using standard company and engineering standards 
•Research new technology to improve plant production and reliability
•Use PlantCAD and AutoCAD to design and plan process changes and upgrades
•Set up scale-up and scale-down processes including appropriate changes to equipment design and configuration

You’re an ideal candidate for this role because you bring…

•Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering
•5-10 years’ experience in petrochemical industry
•Experience in Petrochemical Process Design and Control including Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
•Strong P&ID drafting skills (ISA Standard)
•Knowledge of pumping and piping systems considered an asset
•Registration as a Professional Engineer a bonus
•Ability to see challenge as an opportunity and has a desire to build new processes
•Resourceful and able to think through a problem and knows where to find the answers
