job description

Our client provides consulting engineering services in the infrastructure, water, transportation, environmental and building sectors They are seeking a Civil Engineer to join their growing team in Vancouver with it the potential for excellent career growth . The ideal candidate will assist in the design, project management and contract administration of a wide variety of projects including small and large scale municipal developments, civil site development and municipal rehabilitation projects.

Responsibilities:

-Assisting in the design, cost estimates, specifications and construction of infrastructure projects;
-Managing multi-disciplinary teams in completion of preliminary and detailed design projects;
-Involvement in business development and preparation of proposals;
-Interaction with clients, contractors, and sub-consultants;

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
-Registered as P. Eng with APEGBC
-Minimum of 5 years of local experience;
-Experience with water, sanitary and storm sewer design, as well as road and site grading design;
-Civil3D and AutoCAD skills;
-Strong project management, technical and analytical skills;
-Effective verbal communicator, including presentation, facilitation and listening skills;
