We are currently looking for Class 1 Delivery Driver representatives to do grocery store deliveries in order to serve the food shopping needs of Canadians all around the Greater Victoria Area. Delivery drivers are a critical part of our success in building relationships with our local customers through courteous, on-time, and accurate deliveries.

The Typical shift has between 8-10 hours.
There are morning and afternoon shifts available with start times as early as 5:00 am.


As a Class 1 Delivery Driver Representative, you are required to:

• Pre-inspect truck
• Complete manifest/ log book
• Ensure that the proper documentation is maintained
• Maintain equipment and report any damages, necessary repairs, or malfunctions
• Drive transport truck or straight truck in a safe and respectful manner
• Ensure merchandise loaded in the vehicle is stowed in a safe and damage-free manner
• Unload trailer at stores
• Ensure case-count delivered corresponds with order, pick up credit, or damaged product
• Maintain good working relations with customers at all times through cooperative attitude and well-groomed appearance
• Exercise good driving manners and taking precautionary measures during inclement weather conditions
• Follow the instructions outlined in the driver SOP and pay attention to detail
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment as per company requirements
• Responsible for all other duties assigned by the manager

Qualifications:

• Accuracy and attention to detail to ensure the case-count delivered corresponds with the order
• Strong customer service attitude and enjoy interacting with various clients within the food industry
• Able to lift up to 60lbs consistently
• 1-2 years of experience driving a tractor-trailer and/ or straight truck
• High School Graduate
• Class 1 Driver’s License with air brakes
• Ability to comfortably navigate city traffic.
