    Working with senior leadership and cross functional teams, the role will assist in Managing IT initiatives
    to address business needs by building new systems and upgrading / enhancing existing systems. The role
    involves identifying and championing transformation opportunities and assisting with key decisions on
    how technology will change the way they operate.

    Responsibilities
    Develop and maintain information technology plans in accordance with IT Strategy.
     Verify, modify and design architectures of new and existing infrastructures for robustness, cost
    effective development and business growth.
     Develop, implement, and manage disaster recovery procedures, ensuring continuity of critical
    business systems and technologies that serve the user community at large.
     Work with IT vendor management team to negotiate support contracts and manage third parties for
    enabling temporary work environments; including alternate facilities, technology replacement, and
    logistical arrangements.
     Manage IT Operations and Infrastructure teams, their tasks and responsibilities, which include
    infrastructure, cloud, networks, and databases.
     Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizational policies, applicable laws,
    and compliance regulations. Appraise performance, reward and discipline employees.
     Develop/Refine the team’s ways of working processes that can address work planning, resource
    allocation, prioritization and communications.
     Interview, hire, and train employees.
     Manage the day-to-day operations of multiple data centers.
     Develop and manage budget within area of responsibility for capital investments, sourced services
    and operational expenses.
     Make decisions at a relevant authority level while knowing when to engage upper management to
    seek guidance and assistance when suggesting ideas and solutions to technical problems.
     Interact with all relevant technology services and operations teams in the scheduling and
    implementing periodic maintenance of systems hardware and software, including hardware and
    software upgrades, system releases, and system drivers.
     Ensure that all technology and research solutions (both internal and external) are delivered in a
    timely and cost effective manner.
     Implement and support technology infrastructure, including integrated data networking.
     Manage monthly chargebacks for Microsoft Azure environment to the respective business projects
    and teams.

    Qualifications
    5+ years’ experience in Project Management/Leadership roles.

     8+ years’ experience in IT Operations, Cloud, and on Premise Infrastructure
     Working knowledge of Web Applications.
     Working knowledge of Microsoft Platform and Technologies including Web Servers, Application
    Servers and Database
     Working knowledge of CMS and Search Engines
     Experience in delivering IT Development projects, system implementation and business support
     Experience in emerging technology trends: cloud computing, social media, mobile computing, big
    data, digital, etc.
     Strong program/project management skills and experience (certification is an asset).
     Superior Business Analysis skills including creation of Project Documents to support the solution and
    design such as BRD, SSD, FSD, etc.
     Experience in multiple implementation phases; vision and strategy, system selection, blueprinting,
    design, development, testing, and support
     Degree in a related discipline would be an asset (e.g., B.Eng. B.Sc., etc.)
     Adaptable to a complex environment
     Program management experience that including  portfolio projection, portfolio management,
    resource load and capacity management and supervision of staff
     Strong understanding of IT principals, including lifecycle planning, budget estimation, resource load
    vs. capacity estimations and architecture
     Possess an entrepreneurial mindset with an understanding of Business Cases and ROI
     Demonstrated strong leadership capabilities
     Strong creative thinking abilities
     Excellent written and verbal communication skills
     Strong problem solving abilities
     Should have experience or knowledge in Business Process Management, Change Management
     Quality and Risk management expertise
