We are looking to meet with experienced Clinic/Office Managers in York region and north Toronto. This posting is not for a specific position, but to reach out proactively to talent in the area and help connect them with permanent and long or short-term contract opportunities in the field of healthcare and medicine. As a Clinic Manager you will be responsible for leading a team to ensure that reliable support is provided to the licensed clinicians and that patients always come first. Some of the responsibilities placed upon clinic managers include patient relationship management, administrative tasks such as scheduling and updating of files, inventory management, payroll administration, and other various other tasks which help the practice to continue running efficiently. The clinic manager has an eye for details and an understanding that errors are a patient health and safety issue.
The ideal candidate is care-oriented, enjoys working in a collaborative environment, and loves finding new ways to be more efficient. We are seeking individuals who are available to work full-time.

Responsibilities
The duties of a clinic or office manager will vary based on the specific practice, but some key responsibilities may include:
- Hiring, training & general staff management
- Maintenance of patient records & company files
- Oversight of general patient care and ensuring that the patient experience always comes first
- Billing through use of third party insurance, government programs and out-of-pocket payments
- Payroll administration & organization/reporting on practice finances
- Facilities & inventory management
- Procurement and legal duties
Qualifications
What YOU bring to the role of Clinic Manager:
To succeed as a leader of clinical practice the ideal candidate possesses at least one year of experience in a supervisory/management capacity in a practice of any size.
Other preferences include:
Tech-savvy and proficient in data entry using an electronic medical records system
Customer service oriented and committed to putting patients first
Well-developed interpersonal and problem-solving skills with an ability to build patient relationships, resolve disputes quickly and diffuse situations
High-level verbal and written communication skills with a professional manner
Highly organized with excellent time management skills, experienced managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented, skilled in accurate, high-volume data entry
Ability to maintain confidentiality in a variety of settings and experienced in handling sensitive information
Reliable and conscientious with a “get-it-done” attitude
