Cloud Analyst - Job Description
We are looking to hire a Cloud Analyst who will be responsible for delivering end to end Cloud Infrastructure engagements that include client migrations and troubleshooting issues.
Here’s what the Cloud Analyst will do!
•Sets up, configures and tests Azure, AWS infrastructure components (server, storage, network, data, applications)

•Troubleshoots, maintains, upgrades, works with vendors to provide solutions for complex incidents and problems;
•Linux/Windows system administration and troubleshooting;
•Identifies potential challenges that may impact our clients and proactively formulate responses and solutions;
•Relays technical information to both technical and executive personnel;
•Provides support across multiple functions;
•Delivers complex technical solutions including planning, development, implementation, installation, upgrades and support to client’s cloud infrastructure;
•Configures and maintains monitoring and alerting systems for multiple clients;
•Configures and monitors backup & restore processes for multiple clients;
•Interacting with teams and clients in different time zones for ensuring 24×7 support.
•Sets up/improves the process for managing customer tickets;
•Meets and manages customer SLAs updates while communicating issues and concerns;
•Forges strong relationships with clients to create an optimal service experience and an opportunity to discover future business opportunities;
Here’s what you will need!
CLOUD ANALYST MUST HAVES:
•A Post-Secondary degree or diploma specializing in Engineering, Computer Science, Software, Hardware, Networking, or IT;
•Has experience working with customers /clients and have proven excellent communication and presentation skills;
•A minimum of four (4) years of experience in a similar role.
CLOUD ANALYST Technical requirements include excellent knowledge in:
•AWS and Azure infrastructure components: server, storage, network, data, and applications;
•Infrastructure Architecture: Active Directory, Backup Networking, Compute, Capacity Planning;
•AWS and Azure services such as deployment, provisioning and life cycle management: AWS and Azure VMs, Storage, Network, SQL database, Website, Network, etc.
•AWS and Azure IAAS service and components: AWS and Azure VM, Storage, Networking, Database
•Good experience in AWS and Azure lift and shift migrations: VMware, Hyper-V, Physical servers and Other Clouds;
•Scripting & Automation: Perl, PowerShell, Python;
•Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Good knowledge in:
•Datacentre Support & Services;
•Cloud Native monitoring tools within AWS and Azure;
•Troubleshooting Virtual Machine backup related issues;
•Technical and Process SOPs creation for partner/clients;
•Skills on Web Application Firewall and DDoS;
•Network firewall appliances.
