    Are you an experienced CMM Programmer in the automotive industry seeking a new, fulfilling opportunity in a dynamic work environment? Our fast growing automotive facility is seeking a permanent, full -time CMM Programmer to start as soon as possible.

    The CMM Programmer will be reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager. CMM Programmer, you will be responsible for development of CMM programs and inspection of automotive parts and assemblies to drawings and specification using CMM and manual tools and techniques.

    Responsibilities
    Write programs for the CMM, Mitutoyo specifically
    Required to evaluate products for acceptance to specific criteria, initiate rejection process where required, complete diverse paperwork and system records for traceability and movement of products
    Able to work under minimum supervision in a team environment is essential
    Must possess good organizational and decision making skills to ensure completion of paperwork and computerized tasks


    Qualifications
    Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR Advance degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR in absence of a degree, 7 years of relevant experience is required
    Experience in ISO TS 16949 is an asset
    Experience in ISO 9000 is a requirement
    Minimum of 3 years of Quality Assurance experience in a manufacturing environment
    Completed CMM operation and programming training
    Minimum 2 years of CMM programming experience and capability
    Must be able to read and interpret drawings and specifications
    High competency and understanding of GD&T
    Experienced in Measurement System Analysis, such as gauge and R&R
    Able to operate CMM in both manual and program mode
    Fully competent in the use of tools and gauges to inspect machined parts and features as well as assemblies
    Familiar with Office programs such as MS Word and Excel as well as SAP would be preferred
