Responsibilities
" Punch programs to USB key and CNC programs directly on the server
" Update setup sheets, improve detail and accuracy as needed
" Attentive operation of Mill/Turn, CNC Lathes and 3 to 5 axis CNC Mills
" Accurate set up and set down of various jobs
" Report any damaged tools or machine incidents immediately
" Compute dimensions and tolerances, measure and lay out work pieces.
" Observe drawing dimensions, make improvements as necessary and submit update requests to Engineering department; ensure most current drawings are being utilized
Qualifications
" Red Seal trade certificate an asset
" Experience with Feature CAM software an asset
" Mori Seiki conversational, Heidenhain and Mill Plus IT controls
" CNC router experience an asset
" Extensive CNC machining experience
" Strong programming skills
" Strong understanding of twin spindle twin turret lathes and/or 3 to 5 axis mills
" Geometric dimensioning, tolerance and advanced computer skills
