CNC Machinist

Advantages

Responsibilities
- G-code and M-code
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and GD&T's
- Machining parts from Carbon steel, stainless steel, iron alloys
- Setup tooling and some programming from scratch
- Measure first run parts, using micrometers and calipers
- 5 axis experience
- Drilling, milling 3d parts, de-burring own machined parts
- Perform PM's and troubleshoot on machines and equipment (Mill and Lathe), and record in log book

Qualifications
- CNC Machinist with 5+ years experience
- Experience with Mill and Lathe machining set-up/modifying programs/programming from scratch ideal
- Strong experience with G-Code and M-Code
- Candidates with Manual Machining experience will be given preference
- Custom job shop experience would be considered an asset
- Mastercam experience would be considered an asset
- Good communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Someone who is highly motivated and a team player
