This company specializes in aerospace manufacturing and has invested in new CNC Machines, with more to come. This fast-growing team needs a CNC Machinist to take on challenging technical tasks for their fast-paced production line. If you are a team player and love to stay busy at work, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Permanent position
Hours: Monday - Friday (evening and/or overnight)
Salary: $18 - $32 an hour (premium of $1.50/hour for evening shift and $2.50/hour for overnight shift)

Responsibilities
As a CNC Machinist for this great company located in Ottawa, a normal day would include:
- set-ups of various CNC machines
- run two or more CNC machines simultaneously
- minor modification of programs and update tool list
- inspect work and ensure tolerances are met
- follow health & safety policies
Qualifications
Who is the perfect match for this position?
- 1-5 years of experience working as a CNC Machinist in the manufacturing sector
- read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
- experience using metrology tools (calipers, micrometers, etc) to stay within tolerances
- ability to obtain Canadian Controlled Goods clearance
- team player, creative, autonomous
