Responsibilities
Some of your day to day activities would include:
- performing first offs and machine set ups
- operating cnc milling machines and lathe machines
- working with cnc brands – Matsuura, Doosan and Hitachi
- working with tight tolerances
- machining parts per order (sometimes it can be 100 parts per shift and with larger custom orders can be 2 parts per shift)
Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience as a cnc machinist
- experienced with cnc vertical milling and lathe machines
- strong ability to read and interpret blueprints
- team player attitude and ability to work independently
