Responsibilities
Experience with G code or 4 axis Lathe
Knowledge of trigonometry
Successful candidate will be dependable, team orientated with the ability to instruct other
operators, and value quality in work production.
Ability to read and interrupt work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications,
orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters,
geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
Ability to set-up and load lathe machines by installing and adjusting three-jaw chucks, tools,
attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers, indicating turrets.
Guarantee settings by specifications, measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces
while adhering to international standards.
Strong communications skills: Ability to listen, ask questions, document actions, irregularities,
update quality logs, and provide feedback to improve performance.
Conventional lathe operation or Milling is an asset
Qualifications
DEP in machining or significant experience
A minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC machinist
Have experience on 5 axes and precision at the level of 1 mil.
