CNC Machinist

Is a new permanent opportunity something that you are looking for? Are you someone who appreciates working in a small, close knit shop? Do you enjoy working hard and being appreciated for the work that you do? Are you wanting a chance to learn more about your trade?

We have a client that has an opening and is looking for great talent to join them!

• Salary: $16-$20/hr based on experience
• Shift: Monday to Thursday, 7AM-4:30PM and Friday 7AM - 12PM
• Benefits are offered
• 2 weeks vacation
• Small shop with a family feeling
• Full-time permanent position

Responsibilities of the CNC Machinist:
• Set up tools and program CNC machine
• Responsible to adhere to the production schedule
• Fill out production reports
• Work with maintenance team to reduce downtime
• Troubleshoot problems with machinery

• Looking for someone with 1 year experience
• Certificate as a machinist is an asset
• Experience as a millwright or industrial mechanic is an asset
• Must be able to pass a machining test
• Ability to work autonomously and complete work within a reasonable time
• Someone who has an eye for detail and close attention to detail
