CNC Milling Programmer
Industry - Aerospace.
Shift - Day Shift

Minimum 5 years of experience with Mastercam.

As a CNC Programmer, your primary task will be programming parts from customer provided models or drawings or internally created models or drawings.
You will be responsible for the creation and revision of CNC programs for various multi-axis, horizontal and vertical machines, mills and equipment, as well as supporting current production and prototype projects while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Write programs and modify existing ones for increased efficiency.
Utilize drawings or CAD models to support program development.
Utilize CAM software to produce programs.
Make calculations for programming.
Create, document and back-up all programs. Update set-up sheets and tool lists as required.
Check completed programs by running simulations or tests.
Prepare geometric layout of designs using proper software.
Determine sequence of operations in a program.
Confer with appropriate engineering personnel in preparing and finalizing programs.
Choose cutting tools that will be needed.
Analyze job order and performs necessary calculations.
Simplify tooling time for workers and increases productivity.
Monitor all programs to make sure they follow blueprint instructions and safely and successfully complete the task
Assure quality and production requirements are met, as per travellers and blueprints, etc.
Participate in total quality management projects to achieve continuous improvement.


Associates degree, technical degree and/or combination of education and equivalent work experience.
Forging experience.
Minimum 5 years of on the job experience programming and machining on Fanuc controls.
Proficient in MasterCAM.
Understanding of part tolerances.
Mechanical ability and understanding of engineering principles
Ability to read aerospace blueprint/technical drawings.
