Responsibilities
Possess intimate knowledge of both plasma and oxy fuel processes.
Display proficient use of AutoCAD, Nesting software and CNC controls.
Read and interpret work orders, CAD Data and blueprints.
Provide clear instructions to material handler on material load and offload burn table.
Troubleshoot and make necessary adjustment to machine parameters based on cut quality.
Clearly communicate problems, issues or concerns about the equipment or processes.
Perform daily, weekly and monthly machinery Preventative Maintenance.
Clearly communicate all pertinent details to alternate shift operator when applicable.
Use and understand all measuring equipment.
Determine and display optimum plate utilization.
Operate all lifting devices and machinery safely.
Maintain good housekeeping.
Other duties as required.
Qualifications
High School Graduation Diploma
Minimum of 5 years experience operating a burn table
Experience using measuring equipment and lifting devices
Proficient in AutoCAD, nesting software and CNC controls
Not on bus route, own transportation required.
