Are you an experienced CNC Operator/Programmer looking for a career change? Maybe you've been job searching and having no luck? We would love to help you secure permanent employment.

My partner Keisha Kelly and I are currently hiring for a CNC Machinist that can both program, set-up, and operate a multi-tasking machine. This position is long-term, stable, and located just 30 minutes from the city of Calgary, Alberta.

Having your Journeyman ticket is an asset but not required. What is required is 3-5 years experience setting up Multi-tasking machines and Esprit programming knowledge. The company will help support the process of you becoming ticketed if you are not already.

Desired Qualifications:

- Experience working with Drafting and 3-D Drawing Software (AutoCAD, Solid Works, ESPRIT or similar)
- Ability to prepare detailed set up sheets for all programs you make
- Journeyman ticket an asset
-Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Must be able to pass all Security checks
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Able to set-up and operate multitasking machines
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Legally able to work in Canada

Job Description:

-As part of a key member of the technology team, you will play a major role in the new product launch.
-Making CNC machining programs using Esprit to meet customer requirements and to have the most efficient and most cost-effective processes to produce parts.
-Prepare detailed setup sheets for all programs you make.
-Request tool requirements from the tool management team.
-Execute the setup and run a few parts until the process is stable.
-Fill out “Postproduction FeedBack form” and hand it over to PDS
-Participate in process improvement initiatives where applicable.
-You may be responsible for assisting with implementation/upgrade training and development of machinist/trainee machinists
