Are you an experienced CNC machinist and programmer? Do you know CNC operations and tools inside and out? Are you ready to utilize your extensive knowledge to help achieve the goals of a growing company? If so, we have an opportunity for you!

Our client in Edmonton is looking for a PERMANENT CNC Programmer to join their growing machining team to be paid at a rate of $35-$40 per hour. You will be responsible for interpreting production order information, drawings and blueprints, as well as part descriptions in an efficient manner. The CNC Programmer will understand the sequence of operations for a production order and are able to set up, operate and monitor CNC machines while fixing programs during production runs as required. You will perform multiple setups in place machining of fixtures, debugging first run programs, and suggesting changes to machine tool programs as required. You will manufacture routine, complex and non-routine parts from raw materials. Work orders are to be completed within deadlines, utilizing appropriate resources and strategy planning for each job. Necessary documentation will support every job in order to route the product to the appropriate location. The successful applicant for the position of CNC Programmer in Edmonton will also possess the skills necessary to use overhead cranes and pallet jacks to safety maneuver raw material and product safety around the plant. Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed by the plant supervisor.

Applicant must have;
•5+ years CNC Machining/ Programming experience
•High School diploma
•Multi-Axis machine experience with programming
•Experience with CAD/ CAM drawing programs: GibbsCam/ MasterCam
•General knowledge of products and services in relation to the oil and gas
•General understanding of safe work practices, Quality Assurance requirements, and Continuous Improvement (Lean Manufacturing) principles
•CNC programming certificate preferred
