    Are you BComm graduate in the Mississauga area that is passionate about Collections and looking for your next exciting opportunity!? Our client, a reputable distribution company in Mississauga is seeking a Collections Administrator to join their team for a long term role.

    Ideal candidates will have graduated from an Accounting or Finance program and be proficient with Excel. Applicants must be available to work on-site in Mississauga

    Responsibilities
    Coordinate with other department personnel to ensure that customers’ credit memo requests are reviewed for processing or decline. Ensure final decision is communicated properly to the customers to minimize deductions on AR.
    Maintain accurate and complete records of collection activities & link all correspondence to pending line items
    Validate claims requests in a timely manner and follow up with related department on credit issuance or communicate to customer the reason for decline with supportive documentation before the expiring date of rejection.
    Generate reports pertaining to own portfolio for overdue AR line items, Investigate & report arrears reason for each line item.


    Qualifications
    Post secondary education in field of Finance & Accounting
    Advanced knowledge of Excel
    Ability to work on-site in the Mississauga area
    SAP experience preferred
    French/English bilingual is an assset
    Positive outlook and the ability to work cooperatively with others
