Attention Collections and Credit Coordinators! Are you looking for a new and exciting role in a company who is secure in the market? Do you have extensive experience in high volume credit and collections? Then please continue to read on to see if this is the right role for you!

Reporting to the controller, this Collections and Credit position, your responsibilities will be, but not limited to:
• Proactively communicate with customers on request for on time payment
• Run credit reports using Equifax and obtaining bank and credit references
• Monitor and escalate high risk credit accounts, or accounts that are past due
• Document all communication about financial status of customer and collection efforts
• Prepare credit notes,collection notices and make adjustment entries
• Establish credit limits and evaluate new orders.
• Continuous improvement on making the credit process more efficient
• Generate accounts receivable reports commenting on results, trends and potential risks as well as opportunities.
• Provide feedback to the sales department on their clients accounts
• Other duties as required

Qualifications you possess are:
• Minimum 5 years experience in high volume credit and collections
• High proficiency in MS Office application - emphasis on Excel
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment with tight deadlines
• Education in finance considered an asset
