    Our client, a growing bank company, is providing financial solutions to individuals and businesses across Canada. To support their growth, they are looking for a Commercial Banking Officer to maintain and build upon existing relationships with business clients while actively marketing the institution's services to attract new commercial clients.

    Work Location: Vancouver, BC
    Working Hour: Monday to Friday; 8:45am to 5:15pm
    Directly Reports To: Head of Commercial Banking

    Responsibilities
    - Provide leadership and direction to the Bank's overall loan portfolio growth
    - Coach and lead new and existing credit officers
    - Review and develop new business opportunities related to commercial lending and financing
    - Develop long-term profitable loan portfolio with existing clients while achieving short-term lending target to support a high growth strategy
    - Create and execute individual marketing strategies while ensuring alignment with portfolio objectives and corporate goals
    - Maintain strong relationship based selling skills, client relationship management, and networking skills
    - Exercise sound credit judgment to ensure high-quality loans through sales focused strategy to generate high-quality loan proposals
    - Develop strong network of referral sources by leveraging on existing networks through active involvement and participation with the business
    - Perform financial analysis and risk assessment where applicable
    - Develop and conduct training modules for employees and internal stakeholders


    Qualifications
    - University degree in business management with focus in finance and accounting preferred
    - Preferred 8-10 years of experience in commercial account management and commercial lending
    - Strong Knowledge of the marketplace, particularly with respect to SME and Mid-Market commercial lending space
    - Relationship driven, strong ability to establish, maintain, and manage client relations
    - Ability to consult, counsel, and support to clients commercial and personal financial needs
    - Thorough understanding of relevant Canadian regulatory requirements, commercial lending industry and related products
    - Mandarin or Cantonese proficiency will be considered an asset
