    Salary Range: $17.94 to 19.64, Depending on experience

    Do you live in the beautiful Laval area ? Maple Leaf is hiring you on a permanent basis. You are physically fit and want to make a difference for a well established company in the region? At Laval, the mixer position is perfect for you!

    The mixer is an essential part of Maple Leaf. The mixer is responsible for making the recipe and making the product, machine operator

    Working as a mixer will open up many positions within the company. At Maple Leaf it is possible to grow professionally.

    The compounder should be able to follow this schedule : 5:30am-2pm

    Responsibilities
    The Compounder is responsible for:

    - Prepare and formulate salami recipes
    - Follow the various procedures in place for food safety to ensure product integrity.
    - Prepare the machine to start the preparation of the recipes
    - Perform quality control on product
    - Complete recipe forms
    - Maintain clean and orderly work area
    - Perform any other related duties as requested by the supervisor
    - Follow good hygiene and production practices

    Qualifications
    Someone who enjoys working in a dynamic small business environment and likes to be in the action

    - Experience in a similar role required
    - Knowledge and experience in the food industry an asset
    - Well organized, quick to execute and dynamic
    - Team player
    - Bilingual (asset).
