If you looking to develop your professional career in technical support, you could gain valuable experience with our client, an IT company that provides a wide range of IT solutions, as a Configuration Technician in their Markham location.

You will be responsible for:
• Install, troubleshoot and repair computer systems and computer peripherals
• Install and support end-user software applications
• Support of additional equipment as required under the direction of the client
• Resolve internal user problems and ensures correct operation of personal computers
• Physical IMACD (Installs, Moves, Add, Changes, and Deletions)

•Duration: 12 months (with possibilities to perm or extension)
•Location: Markham
•Pay Rate: $19.40/hr

• 1-2 years of related experience
• Good communication skills both verbal and written (Fluent in English)
• Good troubleshooting skills and good interpersonal/communication skills for working with end-users and other team members
• Windows OS knowledge (Windows 7, Windows 8.x and Windows 10)
• Desktop and Laptop hardware knowledge
• Printer hardware knowledge
• Experience in configuring, testing and debugging applications
• Network knowledge (TCP/IP, DHCP, WINS and DNS)
• Able to use Remedy or ServiceNow or similar ticketing system
• CompTIA A+ Certification is an ASSET
