Responsibilities
Conduct regular inspections and job observations in the field to assess and report on HSE
behaviors, culture, successes/deficiencies, trends, and opportunities for improvement;
 Engage employees, supervisors, clients, and contractors to help remedy HSE hazards and
risk;
 Develop and/or lead monthly safety meetings;
 Monitor client and site-specific HSE performance metrics and actively share with
employees;
 Provide support and/or respond to incidents and critical near-misses;
 Conduct and/or support incident investigations including root cause analysis, corrective
actions, and recommendations;
 Coordinate and/or lead post-incident and critical near-miss
What we are looking for:
 Someone who understands: the value of relationship building, the importance of
interfacing with workers, Supervisors and clients; and the importance of their role in
supporting continuous HSE improvement;

Qualifications
Knowledge of the OHS Act and Regulations
 Excellent and professional written and oral communication skills
 Excellent safety reporting skills
 Above average observation skills
(to be able to recognize all workplace hazards and refer to OHSA regs)
 Proficient with computer and mobile applications
 Be able to work within a team environment as well as work without supervision
 Be able to multi-task and meet deadlines as required
 Be able to take direction and learn from Senior Health and Safety Professionals
+++MUST be bilingual English/French)
 1-2 years’ HSE field experience with applicable certifications/designations (preferred)
