Responsibilities
The contractor will be a member of the Platforms Scheduling Team who will work with business partners to deliver business values in the area of workflow optimization and automation using the Control-M platform: Enterprise Manager, Control-M/Server, Control-M/Agent, and its many modules (SAP, AFT/MFT, SAP Business Objects, Databases) though projects and sustainment activities.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Setup, Support new Control-M job schedules in N+1 Environment
• Setup, Support new Control-M job schedules in Pre-Production Environment
Qualifications
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to independently drive results and meet timelines as part of a strong technical delivery team
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, seeks required input across departments to achieve goals.
• Specialist independently delivering on achieving operational excellence, including but not limited to job scheduling skills.
o BMC Control-M (Agents, Control-M/Server, EM) – Preferred
o Linux OS and proficiency with command line
o Linux shell and SQL scripting
o Windows 2012 R2 and newer
o PowerShell programming
o Networking and security skills and understanding an asset: IP routing,
DHCP/DNS, VPN, Firewall, certificates
o Problem analysis, troubleshooting, and remediation actions
o Strong interest in system configuration and problem solving
• Infrastructure server/application patching & upgrades experience associated with Control-M systems
