They deliver CFO services including financial planning, budgeting, projections, bill pay, bookkeeping, record keeping, cash flow management, and risk management services. Responsibilities
•Provide end-to-end financial accounting services for each client including updating QuickBooks for all relevant client transactions such as bill payments, invoicing, income verification, bank/credit card accounts management, etc.
•Quarterly reporting, budgeting, and cash flow forecasting
•Collaboration with outside professionals
•Critical analysis of the clients’ financial performance and position
Qualifications
•Designated CPA with 3+ years experience in an accounting firm, professional services, or relevant client-facing experience, ensuring excellent service delivery for a portfolio of clients
•Comprehensive understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
•Strong understanding of Canadian and US personal and corporate tax filing (specifically loan out corps or single-person entities)
•Knowledge of cross-border taxes and how Canada/US Returns work in tandem
•Understanding of payment & accounting in the entertainment/professional sports industry
•Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
•Proficient with Mac and the Apple suite of applications
•Proficient with Google Workspace and the Google Cloud suite of applications and products
•Excellent time management skills with attention to details
•Exemplary ethics, integrity, and respect for confidentiality
•PFP/CFP certifications are desirable
