Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Director of Finance, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Monitor the evolution of sales and margins in the sector on a weekly basis and take corrective action when deviations and risks are considered;
- Analyze and control operational expenses by branch and act as a Business partner for the organization
- Participate in the preparation and closing of monthly books and its reporting
- Prepare monthly financial reports and variance analysis reports required for internal and external needs;
- Communicate monthly results to the Finance department
- Prepare annual operating budget and quarterly forecasts, income statements and balance sheet
- Actively participate in the production of financial analyses related to various operational scenarios and propose relevant recommendations to support decision-making. Simulate income statement and balance sheet according to given scenarios
- Initiate and implement continuous improvement projects for the financial department and the company in order to optimize operational and financial processes
- All other related tasks
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
- CPA designation or in the process of being obtained, an important asset
- Bilingual environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent command of Excel (RechercheV, pivot tables)
- Knowledge of SAP, a major asset
