    Are you an experienced Bilingual senior accountant with management experience or a controller looking to take on your next great adventure? You are familiar with taxes and payroll issues in both Quebec and Ontario. As a full-cycle controller, you will be responsible for all aspects of accounting reporting directly to the president

    Our client is looking for a controller that can help support the company's aggressive growth plan and build an accounting department that supports many aspects of the business.

    This is a role that is considered 100% on-site for now.

    Responsibilities
    -Responsible to support, control and get involved with the full cycle team ( ar, ap, and payroll.)
    -you will be the primary owner of the GLs and take charge of the day-to-day accounting; bank & credit card reconciliations, tax, and payroll remittance. supervise and approve the payroll.
    -Responsible for the month-end process and proper production of financial statements
    -Oversee the year-end process with external auditors
    -Oversee the budget process in general and track on a project basis the profitability and WIP.
    -Any and all other tasks in relation to the position

    Qualifications
    -Min 5 years of exp in a senior accountant or controller role
    -Bilingual ( French and English )
    -Experience in managing staff.
    -Experience in manufacturing, construction, real- estate or professional services is considered an asset.
    - Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
