    Are you a hands-on Controller who has manufacturing industry experience and is exploring new opportunities in Mississauga?!

    We are looking to connect with talent for this exciting, permanent Controller opportunity to help our client with a succession plan for the current Controller who is planning their retirement!

    Responsibilities
    Reporting to the President, your duties and responsibilities will include;

    - Manage the Finance and Accounting department personnel by providing clear direction and performance feedback on a regular
    basis and through scheduled performance coaching sessions
    - Manage all financial processing including invoicing, accounts receivable, cash receipts and disbursements, accounts payable, banking, payroll, general ledger, and financial reports
    - Monitor and review the adequacy of all insurance coverages
    - Prepare the financial submission to correspond to the technical submissions prepared for SR&ED claims
    - Manage outside auditors retained by the company
    - Provide forward tax planning for the company to minimize the tax impact financially
    - Manage the company’s relationship with lenders including the preparation of required reporting
    - Correlate information from other departments in preparing the budgets for the business plan
    - Produce documentation as requested by shareholders

    Qualifications
    - University education and CPA designation
    - Manufacturing industry experience, ideally from a project-based environment
    - The ability to juggle multiple priorities
    - Comfort with being hands-on and processing AP and/or AR if necessary
    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    - ERP experience and the ability to work with different systems
