    Controls Technicians (Maintenance)

    Randstad is currently hiring a highly motivated and skilled Controls Technician

    We are looking for an individual that is not afraid to take on a challenge, has a positive team attitude and a good understanding of tight deadlines.

    Main Responsibilities & Activities:
    - Maintain and troubleshoot automated manufacturing equipment
    - PLC troubleshooting and minor programming
    - Electrical diagnostics and repair
    - Minor mechanical troubleshooting and repair
    - Combination of preventative maintenance, emergency breakdowns, troubleshooting

    Responsibilities
    -Possesses technical capabilities to troubleshoot basic automation devices in a timely manner
    -Responsible for implementing and executing solid system for backup of all programs and parameters for
    all automation devices.
    -Identify and implement most secure and effective way to store backup programs and associated
    parameters.
    -Setup calibration process for automation devices and their control instrumentations
    -Follows all safety regulations, such as Arc Flash protection and use of Personal Protective Equipment
    (PPE).
    -Maintains up-to-date technical knowledge and skills by attending training sessions and seminars from
    major manufacturers of automation equipment and related associations, etc.

    Qualifications
    -Post-Secondary Diploma in related field
    -442A Industrial or 309A Electrical License (fully licensed or Apprentice)
    -Associate’s Degree in Industrial Automation or equivalent;
